A Highlands Holiday in a New England Cape House

I saw this feature while scrolling through a Country Living’s round-up of different Christmas tree decorating styles when I was searching for inspo to help me figure out how I wanted to do our tree this year. I stumbled upon this tree, and fell head over heels in love. It was a major source of inspiration behind my dried orange ornaments, and when I went to click on the rest of the article, I was so smitten with the whole house and all of its tartan cuteness. So I’m sharing it with yall because it makes me happy. Personally, I have to agree with the one person who commented that it was “too much plaid for her” (lol), but it’s the type of thing that I love to look at in someone else’s house. Even if I probably wouldn’t go all gung-ho with the plaid in my own home. So here you go – Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Hanukah fam!
